tube Suits Up for Cox Cable HD Football Spot - Oz Magazine
| ATLANTA – tube recently collaborated with Dean Pernaci Editorial on a broadcast spot for Cox Communications promoting football in high definition (HD) to its digital subscribers.
Chris Downs, Creative Director of tube, and Joseph Suttles, tube’s newest Motion Graphics Designer, shot transition and design elements with a real life football fan dressed up in full gear in tube’s insert stage on green screen. Shot in 1080i DVCPRO-HD, the silhouetted action shots range from a quarterback snap and catch to a quick juke past camera. With the challenge of only standard definition stock football footage to work with, the 1080i green screen elements, combined with motion graphics, provided the basis for this gritty spot finished in HD. Rounding out the post process, tube’s Greg Partridge completed sound design on the 30 second spot with grunts, punts, and crowd applause - stay tuned for more! |
