ATLANTA – TUBE’s Owner/Editor, Chris Downs and the Broadcast Dep’t at RICH’S in Atlanta (Federated Department Stores), recently wrapped up a successful new series of spots for one of the national retailer’s biggest sales of the year, the Anniversary Sale. The campaign consisted of three separate spots: Fashion Sale, Home Sale, and Mattress Sale. Coupled with both 30 second and 10 second, all spots were cut into separate versions for the three sister stores- RICH’S, Lazarus, and Goldsmith’s. Based on direction from RICH’S Art Director, Glenn Longmuir, TUBE designed the graphic look and feel, providing digital storyboards to Longmuir via TUBE’S “Client Spot” on their website, www.tubecreative.com.

The spots are comprised of a combination of film footage shot by Atlanta’s Fizz City, audio mixes produced at Doppler Studios, and a graphically driven open and close created in After Effects by the TUBE team. The graphics compliment the modeled plexiglass sets with lit, transparent bands moving in Z space setting off the price points. After off-lining the film footage on AVID, TUBE conformed at 1:1 in their new Final Cut Pro/Cinewave suite and mastered to DigiBeta. The spots began airing nationwide on April 15, 2002.
