TUBE in the Fast Lane - OZ Magazine March/April 2004

ATLANTA – TUBE’s broadcast design department revved their engines in 1st quarter providing a graphics package for the UPS Racing 2004 video. To promote the UPS sponsorship of Dale Jarrett and Nascar #88, producer Russ Ensley of UPS, contracted TUBE to create an edgy, energetic motion graphics set of bumpers and inset windows to be used for on screen sound bites. Final composite and online were performed at UPS by Ben Rivers, UPS Visual Effects Supervisor.

Continuing with a sports theme, TUBE provided the Atlanta Hawks with the editorial of a segment tape to be used during Hawks’ home games at Philips Arena. The edited segments, versioned to 2-minute, 1-minute and 30-second lengths, consisted mostly of music videos and I Love This Game bumpers produced by the NBA and re-cut at TUBE utilizing Hawks highlight game footage.

TUBE would like to welcome its newest motion design artist, Michael White. White graduated from Savannah College of Art & Design and has worked in the industry for the past four years.
